I was talking to my boyfriend the other night about blogs and why we (women) read them. It was a tough thing to explain. Even though he is a very romantic, imaginative poet, sometimes I feel like there are still traces of little girl in me that he can't relate to. I realized that a lot of the reading I do of the blogs I follow, is simply to be inspired by the beautiful imagery and ideas there are out there. What do you think? Do you follow the blogs you follow just so you can find beauty every day? What do you use your new found treasures for? I wanna hear it, so I can report back to him and let him know that we are just a bunch of dreamy girls who love pretty things and we don't need any more reason than that to do what we do!
So, tell me, don't you just love pretty things too? :)

I have over 500 blogs in my Reader that I skim through each day. As an artist and crafter I find blog reading to be a fantastic way to find new ideas, get inspired and just see what other people are creating.

Blogs...love them! Love everything pretty and beautiful and lovely about them but most of all I am soooo very inspired by the stories and all the imagery of those pieces of art that were captured and brought to life by someone's artful hands not to mention imaginative spirit...well its downright wonderful! All this reaching out, all this sharing! And really, who doesn't need a little wonder full of just simply goodness in their everyday life? xoxo Eden
I love to read blogs to not only find beauty and inspiration, but to feel a kinship and a sisterhood with others who are like me. I feel like I am a part of a large craft family when I sit in front of my computer and dive into a really great craft blog and soak up their creativity. I think it's important to seek what you love in life and surround yourself with it!
I've recently come across a stash on old vintage cotton reels - What a delight!
