I am feeling very mellow today and I happened upon this beautifully mellow jewelry designer that totally fits my mood :) Elizabeth Scott Designs

Elizabeth Scott lives in rural Upstate NY, near Albany. She went to school for fine art and after college she worked as a public school teacher for a few years before she began making jewelry full time.

Plants & water are her favorite subjects. To represent water, she use various methods of producing texture in metal. Patterns are hammered, enameled, matte finished, heat textured. Her botanical pieces are created from the plant itself- from a mold or impression of the leaf, or a casting of the organic object. She creates the finish and patina on each piece by hand.
