- And for those of us who aspire to stay the way we are ; ) - Perfectly Kept House is the Sign of A Misspent Life: How to live creatively with collections, clutter, work, kids, pets, art, etc... and stop worrying about everything being perfectly in its place. (because that's ok too!)

The Bold and the Beautiful - Jewelry

I have to say, I sort of got lost in an internet wonderland when I set out to write today's post. Just a simple search for jewelry - but it began to turn into a scavenger hunt for show stopping pieces somewhere around the moment when I realized the day was almost over any way and I might as well just have a little pretty internet party with myself while browsing for content for my post (haha)! I would definitely wear all of these on my boldest day (and if you know me well, I can get pretty bold if I wanna!) (Above: baltica)

Found - 2mountains

There are only a few lovely hand-painted brooches in 2mountain's new Etsy shop, but I see some serious potential! I came across  Katia Carletti's wondrous creations via my Etsy Activity Feed (which I kinda love, by the way) this afternoon while I was taking a break from my big move. No, I haven't literally moved, but I have bargained with my lovely boyfriend to let me use our extra bedroom for my office! I'm so excited to have my own little workshop for all my musings!

It's been a busy two days, moving things around, and before that, Christmas (and after that - the huge snow storm!) but I'm now back in the swing of things for the new year!  I can't wait to show you all the fun things in store for Fey Handmade! Wait til you see :) :)

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!! As much as I hate the cold, I love how pretty a fresh coat of the white stuff looks (from the safety of my windows at least!). These photographers certainly know how to capture the magic of the season - and you have to give them credit for bravely going into such frigid conditions for the sake of art!

It's snowing pretty heavily here now, and I just love being safe inside my apartment watching everything disappear into a white wonderland.

I've been a bit sickish these past few days and I just want to cozy up in a nice warm sweater! This alpaca and silk sweater may be more appropriate for a fancier situation, but I'm so over my sweatshirts and pjs by now! I need to be normal again! Here's hoping I'll be better in time for some festivities this weekend!
